Description
Streptocarpus velutinus (also called 'Velvety Streptocarpus', 'Velvety Cape Primrose', and 'Cape Primrose', among many other common names) is a perennial plant native to Madagascar. It has long, trailing stems with velvety leaves and small, white flowers. It grows in a variety of habitats, including rocky outcrops, grassland, and disturbed areas.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Streptocarpus velutinus has small, white flowers with yellow centers. The seeds are small and black. The seedlings have small, velvety leaves.
