Frullania heteromorpha (also called Heteromorphic Frullania, among many other common names) is a small, perennial, evergreen liverwort with a creeping stem and a rosette of leaves. It is native to tropical Asia, from India to the Philippines, and it grows in moist, shady places such as in forests, along streams, and in moist rock crevices.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Frullania heteromorpha has small, yellowish-green flowers with a single pistil and six stamens. The seeds are small, black and round. The seedlings are small, with a single, round leaf.
