Frullania catalinae (also called California Liverwort, among many other common names) is a small, perennial, leafy liverwort. It is found in western North America, from British Columbia to California, and grows in moist, shaded habitats such as in forests and along streams.

The flower of Frullania catalinae is a small, greenish-yellow, cup-shaped structure. The seed is a small, brown, oval-shaped capsule. The seedlings are small, green, and have a single, large leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Frullania catalinae can be propagated by division or by spores. It can be cultivated in a moist, shady environment with plenty of air circulation. The soil should be acidic and well-draining. It should be kept in a temperature range of 60-75°F (15-24°C) and should be watered regularly.
