Description
Castanopsis kweichowensis (also called Kweichow Chinquapin, among many other common names) is a species of evergreen tree in the beech family. It is native to southern China, where it is found in the provinces of Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, and Sichuan. It grows in forests at elevations of 500–1,500 metres (1,600–4,900 ft).
