Description

Wisteria floribunda (also called Japanese wisteria, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the pea family Fabaceae, native to Japan. It is a woody, deciduous twining climber which grows to 9 m (30 ft) in height and bears fragrant, pendulous racemes of purple-blue flowers in spring and early summer.
