Description

Viguieranthus alternans (also called Alternans viguieranthus, among many other common names) is a shrub native to Madagascar. It has a spreading crown and a straight trunk with a diameter of up to 1 m. Its leaves are alternate, imparipinnate, and up to 30 cm long. It grows in dry deciduous forests, thickets, and savannas.
