Description

Pterocarpus angolensis (also called Angolan Pterocarpus, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the western United States. It has a woody rootstock and grows up to 30 cm tall. Its leaves are divided into several leaflets and its flowers are yellowish-white. It grows in dry, open habitats such as grasslands, sagebrush steppes, and open woodlands.
