Description

Pithecellobium hymeneaefolium (also called 'Hymeneaefolium Pithecellobium', among many other common names) is a species of flowering tree in the legume family. It is native to tropical regions of South America, and is found in moist forests and along riverbanks. It has a medium-sized, spreading canopy and grows up to 15 m tall. Its leaves are pinnate and its flowers are white.
