Phanera stipularis (also called Mountain Ebony, among many other common names) is a small tree or shrub that grows up to 6 meters tall. It is native to India, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar, and is found in dry deciduous forests and scrub jungles. It has large, leathery leaves and yellow-orange flowers.
