Description

Parkia timoriana (also called Timoriana Parkia, among many other common names) is a tree species native to South America. It grows to a height of up to 20 meters and has a trunk diameter of up to 40 centimeters. It is found in humid tropical forests, especially in the Amazon basin, and is also found in the Atlantic Forest and Cerrado regions.
