Description

Ormosia pachycarpa (also called Thick-fruited velvet tree, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to China, Vietnam, and Laos. It has a rounded crown and grows up to 10 m tall. Its leaves are alternate, pinnate, and up to 15 cm long. The flowers are small and yellow, and the fruits are small and round. It grows in tropical and subtropical forests.
