Lysiloma ambigua (also called Wild Tamarind, among many other common names) is a species of flowering tree in the pea family, Fabaceae. It is native to the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
