Description

Harpalyce foliosa (also called Foliate Harpalyce, among many other common names) is a small shrub native to the Atlantic Forest of Brazil. It has a woody stem and grows up to 2 m tall. Its leaves are alternate and pinnately compound with 3-5 leaflets. It produces small, white flowers in the spring. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
