Description

Erythrina blakei (also called Blake's coral tree, among many other common names) is a species of flowering tree in the pea family. It is native to Mexico and Central America, and is found in tropical and subtropical dry forests. It grows up to 10 meters tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 25 cm. Its leaves are compound, with three leaflets, and its flowers are bright red.
