Description

Dimorphandra loretensis (also called Loretensis, among many other common names) is a small tree native to the Atlantic Forest of Brazil. It has a straight trunk and grows up to 10 m tall. Its leaves are alternate and pinnately compound with 3-5 leaflets. It produces small, yellow flowers in the spring. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
