Description

Chamaecrista aspidiifolia (also called Aspidifolia Partridge Pea, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the southeastern United States. It has a woody stem and grows up to 30 cm tall. Its leaves are alternate and pinnately compound with 5-7 leaflets. It produces small, yellow flowers in the summer. It is found in prairies, open woodlands, and along roadsides.
