Description

Astragalus sphaeranthus (also called round-headed milkvetch, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Europe, North Africa, and western Asia. It has a short stem, and its leaves are alternate, with a single, oblong-lanceolate leaf blade. It grows in grasslands, meadows, and open woodlands, at elevations of up to 2,000 m.
