Description
Astragalus nicolai (also called Nicolai's Milkvetch, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Tibetan Plateau and western China. It grows in grassy meadows and rocky slopes at elevations of 3,000–4,500 m. Its stems are erect, and its leaves are alternate, with a single leaflet at the apex. The flowers are yellow to white, and the fruits are pods.
