Description
Astragalus afghanomontanus (also called Afghan mountain milkvetch, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the mountains of western China. It has a short stem, and its leaves are alternate, with a single, oblong-lanceolate leaf blade. It grows in rocky, alpine meadows and grasslands, at elevations of 2,000–4,000 m.
