Sebastiania trichogyne (also called Hairy-stalked sebastiania, among many other common names) is a small tree or shrub native to Central and South America. It has a rounded crown and grows to a height of 5-7 m. Its leaves are alternate, simple, oblong-lanceolate, and have entire margins. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests and is commonly found in disturbed areas.
