Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flower of Euphorbia asclepiadea is a small yellowish-green cyathium, with a single pistil and five stamens. The seed is a three-lobed capsule. The seedlings are small, with a single pair of cotyledons.
Cultivation and Propagation
Euphorbia asclepiadea is a succulent plant that can be grown from seed or cuttings. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Propagation is best done in spring or summer, when temperatures are warm and the plant is actively growing. Cuttings can be taken from the stem or leaves and planted in a sandy, well-draining soil. Seeds should be sown in a light, sandy soil and kept moist until germination occurs. The plant is drought tolerant and can tolerate some frost.
