Description
Euphorbia adenoptera (also called Adenoptera, among many other common names) is a succulent shrub native to South Africa. It has a thick, woody stem and a dense, rounded crown of long, narrow, grey-green leaves. It grows in rocky, sandy soils in dry, open areas.

Euphorbia adenoptera has a small, yellow flower with five petals. The seed is a small, dark brown, three-angled capsule. The seedlings are small and have a single, long, narrow leaf.
