Description

Croton pellitus (also called Soft Croton, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to the Caribbean and Central America. It grows up to 4 m tall, with a spreading crown and a thick trunk. Its leaves are alternate, oblong to lanceolate, and up to 15 cm long. It grows in tropical and subtropical forests, in both dry and moist habitats.
