Croton basaltorum (also called Basaltorum Croton, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Euphorbiaceae. It is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 8 m tall. It is native to New Guinea. It is found in lowland and montane forests, as well as in disturbed habitats.
