Chiropetalum ruizianum (also called Ruiz's Five-Fingered Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the southeastern United States. It grows in clumps and can reach heights of up to three feet. It has narrow, flat leaves and white, fluffy seed heads. It grows in open woods, meadows, and along roadsides.
