Argythamnia coatepensis (also called Coatepec Argythamnia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 6 m tall. It is native to Mexico and Central America. It is found in tropical and subtropical dry forests, tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, and tropical and subtropical moist montane forests.
