Alchornea liukiuensis (also called Liukiu Alchornea, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub or small tree native to the Ryukyu Islands of Japan. It grows in humid, tropical forests at elevations of up to 1,000 meters. It has long, thin stems and produces small, white flowers.
