Description
Eriocaulon scorpionensis (also called Scorpion Pipewort, among many other common names) is an evergreen perennial that grows up to 30 cm tall. It is native to India, Sri Lanka, and tropical Africa, and can be found in wet, grassy areas. It has small, white flowers and narrow, pointed leaves.

Eriocaulon scorpionensis has small, white flowers with yellow centers. The seeds are small, black and oval-shaped. The seedlings have a single, oval-shaped leaf with a pointed tip.
Cultivation and Propagation
Eriocaulon scorpionensis is an evergreen, perennial herb that grows in moist, shady areas. It is propagated by division of the rhizomes or by seed. The rhizomes should be divided in the spring, and the seed should be sown in the fall. The plants should be grown in a well-drained, humus-rich soil in a partially shaded area.
