Description

Eriocaulon nigrum (also called Black Pipewort, among many other common names) is an aquatic plant native to India and Sri Lanka. It is a perennial herb with a creeping rhizome and grows up to 20 cm in height. Its leaves are linear, lanceolate, and about 2 cm long. The flowers are small and white, and the plant grows in shallow water or wet soil.
