Description

Comanthera mucugensis (also called Mucugê Comanthera, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Rubiaceae, native to South America. It is a shrub growing to 1–2 m (3–6 ft) tall, with ovate to heart-shaped leaves, and small white flowers in summer.

Comanthera mucugensis is an evergreen shrub that grows up to 4 m (13 ft) tall. It is native to the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Propagation is by seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a warm, moist environment and kept at a temperature of 25-30°C (77-86°F). Cuttings should be taken from the tips of the branches and rooted in a moist medium.
