Description
Entodon propinquus (also called Proximate Bristle-moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It is a small, tufted moss with green stems and leaves that are up to 1.5 mm long. It grows in damp, shady habitats, such as in woods, forests, and meadows.

The flower of Entodon propinquus is small and white, with yellow anthers. The seed is a small, round, black seed. The seedlings are slender, with long, narrow leaves.
