Description
Entodon pallidisetus (also called Pale-set Bristle-moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It is a small, tufted moss with green stems and leaves that are up to 1.5 mm long. It grows in moist, shady habitats, such as in woods, forests, and meadows.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Entodon pallidisetus has small white flowers with four petals and yellow anthers. The seeds are small, black, and shiny. The seedlings have small, ovate leaves with serrated margins.
Cultivation and Propagation
Entodon pallidisetus can be propagated by division or by seed. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade. It is best grown in an area with good air circulation and should be watered regularly. It is not tolerant of drought or extreme temperatures.
