Encalypta armata (also called Bristle-moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Encalyptaceae. It is a small moss with a yellow-green color, and is found in the Northern Hemisphere. It is commonly found in moist, shady habitats, such as in forests, woodlands, and on the banks of streams and rivers.
