Cultivation and Propagation
Elaeocarpus polycarpus is a small to medium-sized tree, growing up to 15 m tall. It is best propagated from seed, which should be sown in a well-drained, sandy soil mix. Germination is usually rapid and can be enhanced by soaking the seeds in warm water for 24 hours before sowing. Once established, the tree is relatively drought tolerant.
