Description

Diospyros yomomo (also called Yomomo Persimmon, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Ebenaceae family. It is a small tree which grows up to 5-7 m tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 30 cm. It is native to the tropical rainforests of East Asia, and is found in Japan, China, and Korea. It prefers moist, shady habitats.
