Description
Diospyros yeobi (also called 'Yeob Persimmon', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Ebenaceae family. It is native to tropical regions of Asia, including India, China, and Japan. The plant has glossy, dark green leaves and small, yellowish-green flowers. It grows in moist, shady areas.
Cultivation and Propagation
Diospyros yeobi is a small to medium-sized tree, growing up to 15 m tall. It is best propagated from seed. The seeds should be sown in a well-drained, sandy soil mix and kept moist until germination. Once the seedlings are established, they should be transplanted into individual containers and grown in a sunny location.
