Description

Diospyros samoensis (also called Samoan Ebony, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Ebenaceae. It is a small tree, growing up to 10 m tall, with a trunk up to 25 cm in diameter. It is native to Samoa, where it is found in primary and secondary forests, and in disturbed habitats.
