Description
Drosera venusta (also called Pretty Sundew, among many other common names) is a small perennial herbaceous plant native to Australia. It has small, white, star-shaped flowers and long, slender leaves that are covered with glandular hairs. It grows in moist, shady habitats such as wet meadows, marshes, and bogs.
Cultivation and Propagation
Drosera venusta is a carnivorous plant that can be grown from seeds or cuttings. It prefers a sunny location with moist soil. To propagate from cuttings, take a cutting from a healthy stem and remove the lower leaves. Plant the cutting in a pot filled with moist soil and water regularly. The cutting should take root in a few weeks.
