Description

Hypolepis ambigua (also called Ambiguous earth fern, among many other common names) is an evergreen fern native to the southeastern United States. It has a rhizome and grows in a clump. The fronds are lance-shaped and have a leathery texture. It typically grows in moist, shady areas such as woodlands and swamps.
