Description
Carex muehlenbergii (also called Muhlenberg's Sedge, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to North America. It grows in moist meadows, swamps, and wet woods. It has a short stem and a tuft of narrow, linear leaves. The flowers are small and greenish-yellow, and the fruit is a small, dry, single-seeded nut.
