Description
Carex macrophyllidion (also called Macrophyllidion Sedge, among many other common names) is a perennial sedge of the family Cyperaceae, native to Europe and western Asia. It is a tufted plant with long, narrow leaves, and its flowers are borne in a spike. It grows in moist, grassy places, such as meadows, marshes, and wet pastures.
