Description
Carex ascotreta (also called Ascotreta's Sedge, among many other common names) is a perennial sedge native to North America. It has a tufted habit and grows up to 30 cm tall. The leaves are green, linear, and up to 10 cm long. The flowers are small and yellowish-green. It is found in moist meadows, marshes, and wet woods.
