Description
Carex arapahoensis (also called Arapaho Sedge, among many other common names) is a perennial sedge found in wet meadows, bogs, and wet woods. It is native to North America, from Alaska to Newfoundland, and south to California and New Mexico. It has a slender, erect stem, and the leaves are long and narrow. The flowers are small and greenish-brown, and the fruits are small, dark brown nutlets.
