Description

Cyathea tryonorum (also called Tryon's Tree Fern, among many other common names) is a fern species in the Cyatheaceae family. It is native to tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America, and is found in wet habitats such as riverbanks and swamps. It has a creeping rhizome and fronds that are up to 3 m long and are divided into narrow, lance-shaped segments.
