Description
Alsophila erinacea (also called 'Erinaceus Alsophila', among many other common names) is a large, terrestrial fern native to tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America. It has a long, creeping rhizome and large, ovate-lanceolate fronds with a distinct midrib. It typically grows in moist, shady areas, such as in the understory of forests.
