                        Description
                        
                            Raphidiocystis chrysocoma (also called 'Golden-haired Raphidiocystis', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is a perennial herb growing up to 1 m tall. It is native to South America, from Venezuela to northern Argentina. It is found in grasslands, scrub, and open woodland, at altitudes of 500-3000 m.
