Description

Indofevillea jiroi (also called Jiro's Indofevillea, among many other common names) is a small, evergreen, perennial shrub native to Southeast Asia. It has small, oval-shaped, light green leaves and grows to a height of 10-30 cm. It prefers humid, tropical climates and grows best in partial shade.

Indofevillea jiroi is used for timber production, as well as for making furniture and other wood products. It is also used as an ornamental plant, and for its medicinal properties, such as for treating fever and inflammation.
