                        Description
                        
                            Gomphogyne heterosperma (also called Variable Milkweed, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to South Africa. It grows in a variety of habitats, including grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas. It has a distinctively shaped seed pod that is covered in soft hairs and has a curved shape.
