Description
Licania trigonioides (also called Cacho de Venado, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Chrysobalanaceae family. It is native to Central America and South America. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.
Cultivation and Propagation
Licania trigonioides is a shrub that can be propagated from seed or cuttings. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and full sun. It can be grown in a variety of soil types, but it prefers sandy or loamy soils. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate temperatures down to -10°C (14°F). Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain a neat shape.
