Hirtella maguirei (also called Maguire's Hirtella, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 8 meters tall. It is native to tropical regions of Central and South America, and grows in wet forests and along streams. It has oblong leaves that are up to 10 cm long and 4 cm wide.
